Find Me Vending at Artists of Color Expo & Symposium (ACES) 10/9-10/11

Hi everyone,

We just passed the equinox, and the weather is definitely heading into fall territory. The cooling weather means plein air painting gets more and more uncomfortable for me, but it’s alright, I squeezed a few more sessions in while the weather was nice last week, and having actual seasons like we do in Seattle is beautiful.

A couple items for you today:

  1. Find Me Vending at ACES
  2. Checking in on Impressquarism

I’ll be vending my art at this year’s Artists of Color Expo & Symposium (ACES) art market!

Besides the market, ACES includes a bunch of other art activities, like a gallery exhibition, live art-making, artist talks, and workshops throughout the weekend. Because this is going to be a bigger art market than my prior art (as opposed to comics) vending experiences and attached to all those aforementioned very arty activities, I’ll be bringing original artwork in addition to prints and cards to sell.

If you make it out to the event, I hope you have a great experience. And if you can’t, send the info to a friend who likes art!

Checking in on Impressquarism

By the way, impressquarism is going great! I’m loving this approach to painting. There’s lots more to explore with it, so I’m sure I’ll be doing more. I’ll be sharing my work on my Insta timely and adding new pieces to my Impressquarism gallery on a more delayed basis.

Here are the latest few:

Till next,

William

Spring Recap and Summer Look-Ahead Juneuary is over (although, it was a mostly warm and sunny Juneuary this year) and the summer months stretch ahead of us.
