Short Notice: I’m In A Group Show Opening This Thursday 5/21

Mid-May Events Update

Birds of a Feather Show

Hi everyone,

Short notice, but I have a painting in another group exhibition opening this Thursday 5/21 at Old Stove Brewing’s Ship Canal location! It’s a bird art show, titled Birds of a Feather, so if you like birds and art, come see the show!

This one lined up unexpectedly, by chance. I’d done a painting of a puffin since I was on a marine wildlife kick after visiting the Seattle Aquarium, and then the next day saw the call for art for this show opening in two weeks. The shows organized by Art Hop are relatively casual, so the timelines are short.

In any case, below are the details for opening night, where I will be vending (my non-bird art) as well. See you there!

Plein Air Views of Washington Opening Reception

And just a reminder that I my “MOHAI” painting will be in the Plein Air Views of Washington 2026 show at Magnuson Park Gallery. I dropped off the framed artwork last Saturday and saw a bunch of excellent nature paintings from other artists. It’ll be great to see everyone else’s work up on the walls. If you like paintings of natural landscapes, you’ll love this show.

I’ll be at the opening reception at 5pm at Magnuson Park Gallery next Thursday, May 28th. See you then!

Till next,

William
